Mosaic
all the places I have been… and everything I have seen… all of the kisses… especially the ones I chose to forget… every surprise success… even when no one else saw me… each mouthful of cheese… the body blows and narrow escapes… every song I met and made my friend… when I got to the top of each hill and suddenly I could see the whole of the thrilling beautiful world below… all the heavy tears I didn’t cry… belly laughs on rainy days… babies’ fat feet flexing… an unexpected smile with a stranger… everything I ever loved, however briefly

So evocative Ellen. Poignant. Made me think of japanese pottery with the beautiful gold seams , the broken pot even more beautiful than the original.
